Kacie Smith and Ilyse Iris Magy, two San Francisco artists, are hosting a participatory art event on March 7 at Big Umbrella Art Studios from 2PM to 6PM. The event is called Ready: A 3D Coloring Book, and consists of a collection of sculptures large and small in various media, all painted white, which they are inviting the attendees to paint and decorate! There will be live music and refreshments and it promises to be fun for the whole family. They will have a suggested donation at the door and a silent auction of the resulting pieces, and they would like to donate the proceeds to Urban Sprouts! They've chosen Urban Sprouts as the perfect cause for this event as our purpose is to create a sense of community, creativity, and connectivity to the earth.
